“That is so much cooler than little league. I did the same thing as a 12-year old kid…without a studio or coach. Thanks. I loved it.”
– Craig, parent of two 8 year olds in the Discovering Rock program after a showcase performance
“My 14 year old son is part of a young teen band/ensemble that meets at Replay every week for an hour and a half. Not only is he having a blast playing and creating with other talented and devoted musicians his age, but there is a professional musician who works with them as well to facilitate and challenge them. Twice a year they get to showcase what they have been working on t a local music club, which needless to say motivates them to do their best and they thoroughly enjoy. While Replay also functions as rehearsal space for adult musicians, Mare and John the lovely owners, are always on site so there is never a worry about safety or supervision. Coming to Replay Friday afternoons is the highlight of my son’s week. If you are looking for a safe happy place where your young musician can take his craft to the next level, you just found it!”
– Marian, parent of a kid in the Band Coaching program
“…it was very fun and creative and we wrote an awesome song!”
– Theo, 10 year old guitarist in the Creating Rock Workshop
“He’s learned to keep up with another musician and I think that’s invaluable. It’s really hard to find that kind of collaboration at his age.”
-Eve-Lynn, parent of 11 year old in the Band Coaching program
“John combines his expertise in drumming and teaching with a great sense of humor, which results in high quality, fun lessons. The progress my daughter made was remarkable. John’s lessons are above and beyond teaching technique and providing a solid base to build upon: his experience as a performer and attention to individual needs allowed for lessons specifically geared to prepare for upcoming performances.”
– Stephanie, parent of John Rubin’s drum student
“If your kid is interested in music, it’s a no-brainer. You have to come, check it out and they’re just going to be more excited after.”
– Lisa, parent of a 10 and 11 year old in the Band Coaching Program
“I found the perfect place to have my daughter’s twelfth birthday party–Replay Music Studios! She and her friends got to write, perform and record their own song. The Replay staff was great and did a fantastic job guiding the girls through the songwriting process. They gave them just the right amount of assistance and the girls were thrilled to see their ideas come to fruition in an amazing original song! Replay made it easy–all we had to do was show up ready to make music!”
– Dawn, parent of a 12 year old
