Groove Workshop

Funk, Rock, Reggae, Hip-hop… there are countless “grooves” that we know and love in today’s music. In this workshop we will pick a few of our favorite songs and discuss the ins-and-outs of the beats and rhythms they use to carry the melody and harmony. We will then get to the business of playing them as a group, and adapting them to our own instrumentation and vision. All instruments and ability-levels are welcome!

• Meets at 12-1:30pm (ages 8-12) & 1:30-3pm (ages 13+)
